Mackenyu’s portrayal of Zoro got me back to watching the anime after stopping in the Alabasta Arc two years ago. I’m now in Marineford.

Mackenyu is perfect for this role. They made a wise decision to hire him. He’s a natural when it comes to the actions scenes and you can clearly tell he’s trained in martial arts. For actors who aren’t trained, they end up using camera tricks which doesn’t work as well.
