Matmata مطماطة is a small Berber speaking town in southern Tunisia, know for it's incredible traditional underground "troglodyte" structures. One of these is particularly famous for being used in the first Star Wars movie as the home of Luke Skywalker.

In this video I'll travel across Tunsia from Tozeur to Matmata, seeing the sights along the way and finishing in my own cave home outside of Matmata.

Come along and join me for another amazing Tunisian journey!.

I was thinking about how the Disney lawyers were already preparing their Cease and Desist letters when the night sky shot showed up. How long can you set the exposure on your camera? If all the elements are in place, location, weather and gear, you'll get your Milky Way shot. 👍📸

That soup is simply a barley soup, and it is called" dchicha " in the south or " chorba frik" in the rest of Tunisia's governorates
