There is a theory that everything happening in South Park is Kenny's dream. As we know, when Kenny dies, he wakes up in his bed. What if everytime he dies he passes another layer of his dream and at one point he would wake up and live a normal life.

They aged originally, going to 4th grade in season 4, but at the end of Imagination Land (season 11) the universe is destroyed and Butters rebuilds it.

Kenny doesn't just respawn, his parents just have another Kenny after the one before him dies. It explains it in one of the episodes.

So in episodes where they are shown to be significantly older physically, Kenny just managed to survive that long.

At the the start of the series the kids were eight years old (most of them I’m presuming).

And now most of the kids are ten years old.

They have literally mentioned their ages and how they have gotten older.

In most animated series the characters don’t age, but in King of the Hill and Bob’s Burger, they clearly have a timeline and deaths of characters. And Hank Hill gets a new truck, and that truck is his truck in future episodes. There is also an episode of Bob’s Burger where Bob gets a tattoo that is incomplete, and the tattoo appears several seasons later.

I love when animated series do this, as I’m sure a lot of us do.

My daughter loves to watch South Park with me, and Gravity Falls as well. I noticed in Gravity Falls that there is a timeline too I believe.

There was a joke in one of the episodes where they were rhetorically asked if they were from the 90s and they all just awkwardly looked at each other

Kenny has a true curse whenever he dies. His parker has a ability whenever he has his hood on or off. This ability has an uncontrollable standard for him. His curse whenever he does tries to get away a hundred times but when it tries too hard it has a power to kill him for the ability to be uncomfortable or uncontrollable. It has been his life for university. The universe has a understanding highway for him to not take control but when he tries dodging he might get away with it for him to take control. But his control has to much ability to cause the world to erupt. But when he finally ages his oldness gets older till he dies and then making the show reversed. His standard when he went to hell for his ability causes eruption for the world to break. This shows that Kenny is not really human. Now the standard for his curse has a meaning for him of the reasons he kept dieing

I actually have an interesting theory about this hear me out. It’s because it’s a TV show and they don’t need a reason because it’s a fictional universe and changing their characters to get older would irreparably make the show less popular.

Would make sense but the South Park characters do age eventually for example the South Park Covid special it took place in the future so they did age
