It's hard to find bands today that have as much power and balls as this. I love this!

Phil Lynott was a one of kind Showman. Such stage presence and charisma. Actually the whole band. They kicked butt

Just a masterpiece of a song
Holds up year after year
This is a great version, I think I like it better than the album

Phil and Brian's vocal harmonies are great. Losing Brian had an obvious impact on the band. This was their very best lineup.

I saw Philip and the boys open for “Queen” (the infamous “Queen/Lizzy” Tour) on March 5th, 1977…while very young it had an impact on my that has yet to wear off! I’d never seen a more handsome looking dude than “SG” and to this day I’ve never seen a front man hold an audience in the palm of his hand with such ease but the absolute star of that show…was “Gary Moore”. The guy was just on 🔥 …it was truly inspiring! Saw them with “Robbo” less that 1 year later. They were “tighter” per say but…it was clear even to my youthful ears that something wasn’t quite right down on the farm (so to speak). I would also state unequivocally that “Thin Lizzy” was by a long shot THE MOST EXOTIC rock n roll band I’ve EVER had the pleasure of witnessing “live”!

One thing I immediately noticed. That damn guitar tone AND that style of playing. In 1976. They were playing like THAT. In 1976..

Phil had to be one of coolest dudes alive, his soul and his swagger made thin lizzy both heavy and groovy. Absolute machine of a rock band

These guys were so smooth live. Queen and UFO were also great live in 76. .In fact saw them all on the same bill.

1976 remember it well. You were either a Kiss fan or not.
Thank the gods of music I had an uncle who gave me obscure ( to me at the time ) music albums
