Golding lays out foundation of party philosophy

Divulging what he calls a new philosophical framework, People’s National Party (PNP) President Mark Golding says the party’s clear mission going forward is to focus on the quality of life of the Jamaican people and to build a more equitable society. Golding said Sunday that that focus would reinforce the party’s long-standing democratic socialist tradition. He told thousands of Comrades at the National Arena, where the party held its 84th annual conference, that progressive politics was fundamental to the PNP’s belief system and would never change under his leadership.

The incumbent, Andrew Holness, will be difficult to unseat; and truly, he is not bad at all. If Mark Golding is going to unseat Holness, he will have to come brilliantly new and greatly different. For one, Golding will have to totally transform the PNP and not be over-shadowed by the PNP's culture which we know was always one of mismanagement/muck-ups. The PNP must renew itself as well as take the moral high ground for the greater good of the country.

This party can win but they av to go out more and talk about the curruption under jlp and how they can change things around ..we need a crime plan .. health care plan etc..they need a good social media team...revamp it

Sir please focus on how you can change health care, upgrade our schools, solve crime, show young people that you don't have to steal and scam to get ahead in life. Non governance is what rules our jamaica presently. Help is needed in all quarters. Lastly encourage Lisa Hannah to return, she will be an asset to th party. We want to visit our country but fear has overtaken many people. God bless you sir.
