FIRST LOOK: McLaren 650S Coupe at Geneva 2014

McLaren finally pull the covers off the new 650S that officially sits in the line above 12C incorporating some of the design elements of the mighty P1. The 650S ups the game to 650hp, with the P1-like headlights and front design, adding a little more flare as McLaren have often been criticised in that respect.

I think the 650s may be my favorite McLaren over all... I think the front looks better than the P1! Really just an excellent car.

In just a few very short years McLaren have produced some truly great cars with a very small budget compared to Audi owned Lamborghini, VW backed Porsche and Fiat owned Ferrari. Makes you wonder where they will be in a few more years when the coffers are a little fuller. Must be a few nervous supercar manufacturers panicking to up there game and Ferraris spies in McL must be waking up with horses heads in the bed!

I got to see a 12C on the street, pics and vids don't do it justice, I was always Dias towards it till now.

Are they making this left hand drive? And on the Hood, it looked a little bit open or is that for ventilation? not a fan of the rear but I like the P1 front.

I can't understand why they keep choosing those wheels with 5 thin spokes... They doesn't suit the car at all IMO.

This is  perfect. I like the front of the p1 but the back style of the 12c better

To me this car looks stunning. If I had the money I'd get one no question. I'm shocked at the price too. As it sits between the mp4 and p1 I was expecting it to be like 350k, 400k etc but not 'only' 200 odd k

just stay with the 12c its much more composed, this looks like in aftermarket shopping back. still the 12c is the perfect understatement car

They have cannibalized their 12C model. Why buy the 12C when this car is not that much more (in terms of those who can afford the 12C) for a much better car?
