Also I need everyone to know that I referenced JD's dance moves off of my own I literally took a video of myself dancing like that and drew it

Just a guy causally singing about his life in a seven eleven

You know, this is actually really tragic, because with some therapy or really just a reliable group of friends, JD wouldn't have gone down the dark path that he did. After his mother died, he lost the only person who had ever shown him love. He tried to reach out to his father, who refused to connect with him, and every-time he tried to make a friend, he was forced to move before any relationship could form. On top of that, wherever he went, bullies just like Heather, Kurt and Ram would constantly try to hurt him and laugh at his pain. This left him torn apart by grief, anger, sadness, and depression, and with know one in his life who would reach out to him. Desperate, he turned to 7/11, using slushies to help repress his feelings. Suddenly, he meets Veronica, who does the unthinkable and actually reaches out to him. She connects with him emotionally, the first person to do this since his mother died. Because Veronica is the only one in the world that cares about him, he falls in love with her, and he wishes to protect her at all costs. So when he sees the same kind of monsters that have been hurting him all his life for no reason (the Heather's, Kurt and Ram) go after Veronica, he is filled with rage and he lashes out against them. When she leaves him as a result of this, he falls of the edge, finally breaking under the emotional strain of losing the love of the only person in the world who cares about him. This is where "Meant to be Yours" happens, as he convinces himself that the toxic people of the high school have blinded her. This delusion is finally shattered when she shoots him. While he bleeds, his rage fades as he thinks about all she has done for him, reaching out to him when he had no one to turn to. He finds her on the field and takes the bomb from her, convinced that the best thing he can do for her is take his own life as an apology for the damage he has caused.

That bit at the end with the bomb was GENIUS! And JD's got a decent idea with this song; why risk an accidental overdose when you can just numb life's pains with a good ol' brain freeze?

There are so many beautiful details in this
-the captions
-JD's drink looks like the poison that killed Heather C.
-The picture of JD's mother and him on the swing which leads him to falling to the feet of his father
-that actually JD falls into the suitcase at 0:15
-all the people who turn into dust
-the bomb at the end

Lol, the first time I watched the musical I didn't realise how much this song portrays JDs lack of mental stability, so listening to this song now makes me go "wow".
