True story one spring practice when I was at track practice the coach was calling plays and he called a slant route for Jimmy Smith. Then he told the corner to press and the safety to walk up and the linebacker to cheat over. Then coach said "run the damn play and you better catch it". Then I heard him tell the qb to throw it to the linebacker.
That alone made me stick to running hurdles.
