She said that the only reason I held the door open was because she was a lady. I responded "No, it's because I am a gentleman". And for the record, I will hold the door open for anyone - male or female - if that is helpful.

Great video! I love your point. For the first few years after marriage my wife was constantly asking me to help out with all the household chores and I tried my best to help out. The problem was that after we finished the household chores I had all the yard chores to complete by myself. I found a solution. When my wife asked me to help with the vacuuming, I would tell her we need to clean the leaf gutters, mow the lawn, prune the shrubs, etc. You come out and help me with that and the we can vacuum. It made her re-think why men do certain chores and women do others. She found places where she could help outside and I found places where I could help inside and each came away with a bit more respect for the other's roles.

Because when men say, you get offended because you have to actually perform in a relationship.
Women would prefer to never have to do anything for their partner while being completely provided and protected for.
