Hello fashion friends!!! Today I have another corset tutorial for you! This is my third (and probably final) diy corset/bustier tutorial. I will be teaching you how to drape, pattern, and construct your own corset. I chose to sew my corset out of leather, but SOOO many fabrics would work for this pattern! (psssst... I've purchased so many expensive scissors throughout my life and these ones are both my favorite and the cheapest)
(I use plastic head pins during videos so you guys can see what I'm using... but I don't love them. ^THESE are what I use religiously and whenever I am not filming.)

I used faux leather, but this pattern can work with SOOO many fabrics! My faux leather has stretch, which is not what we want! So I cut my fabric on the crosswise grain, making the stretch go in the up and down direction instead of the usual left and right direction. You want to use a woven fabric so that the corset can lace-up nice and tight. But because the leather I was working with had stretch, I had to improvise! This is a nice little hack to make my stretch fabric work for a woven pattern.
