Scientists drill one mile underneath Antarctica and make a mind blowing discovery. Today, we take a look at what these scientists discovered underneath Antarctica.

One might think that, after centuries of technological advancement by scientists and researchers, we would have finally begun to understand the planet we live on and the impact that we have on it.

And while at times it seems like that may be true, just when we think we know as much as we can, a discovery will turn our knowledge on its head and make us realize that, despite the wealth of information out there, there is still so much that we don’t yet know.

Thank you for watching!

Thank you to CO.AG for the background music!

Antarctica is full of life year round it has mountains forest valleys and a lot more I worked there for years our samples and data proved that we just where never able to keep it, human remains where found too although I wasn’t on that expedition crew, remember Antarctica was not always covered in ice, continental shift brought it up from equatorial region millions of years ago, and one day if they haven’t already will find the answer to the big question

Sad to know how far our waste can travel. Let's all stop using plastic as our first great achievement Plz. I love this planet and want my grandchildren to appreciate it and respect this wonderful earth. 🙏

I know it's not good to find plastic in the ice, but I can't believe they didn't expect it as plastic has been found in the Mariana Trench!

That's no surprise and Antarctica was once a warmer fertile paradise but exactly how many years ago is the mystery we'll probably never figure out.

Well I certainly hope that you know I know we probably can't clean it all up at once but we can start on trying to clean it up a little bit of time I certainly hope and pray that we can try to get this world back to the way it should be

8:46 very symetric mountains.left and right almost look identically like a mirror but not perfect the same. Pause at 8:46 and let me know if you see the same.

Makes you think that man will destroy the planet. I lie to think that man has lived on each plants in our system and we destroyed each and every of them and yet we are slowly destroying this one too. WE WILL NEVER LEARN.

They first tell people that its actually the driest place on the planet when it comes to precipitation, and that all the ice is millions of years old because it never snows there any more. Now they are saying that microplastics are being dropped by snow fall. Please make up your minds.

It is nice to know that life will survive after we are done with the earth.
