Americans please appreciate this man's videos every Damn video I watch says 70 c to 5 grams per 150 ml or something like that where he says it and explains how to do it here. I always Lookup other videos and spend so much doing conversions and then forget them every time plus the videos are 20 mins for one type he just explain how to do over 3 In 5 mins. Love these quick simple videos :)

I’ve always just made my green tea with the stove top kettle/boiling water. I liked it, but it was bitter. Then I got an electric kettle where I could control the temp of the water, and wow - what a difference. I’ve been drinking Rishi super matcha, mix of matcha and I think konacha, though it is a bag tea. Looking forward to trying more of the loose green teas I have.

As an advent tea drinker, some cups I've made it just felt like it was either I drank too much or too little. I know when it comes to tea, people ask, "How can it be too little or too much?" But, I try to tell them, it's not how much is consumed, but whither if you're brewing it right.

I just put them in a cup and pore kettle water on em with some sugar lol
I don't use bags tho I find them wasteful and an extra thing to worry about (they are sometimes dusty and need washing)

Thank you for this guide!
I love drinking green tea and always paying attention to the steeping time and amount of leaves is easy enough, but regarding the fact that green tea needs to be prepared at 80°C is a bit hard for me to follow.
When do I know that the water is not boiling hot (100°C) and instead at around 80°C? My kettle doesn't have a "thermometer" of some sort and I'm not exactly sure when I should take my kettle off of its stand. The bubbling sound I usually hear after about 2 minutes doesn't mean it's already boiling, or does it?

... How do i do the 2nd and 3rd brewing? Like i do the first and then what? What do i do with my wet tealeaves that are still well... wet (and therefore keep infusing and releasing tanins) ?

Hi! I have a quick question about what to do with your tea leaves after the first steeping? Do you leave them in the Kyusu throughout the day? And then come back to them when you want to make another cup? p.s. love you guys and all the information you provide!
