Today we shall elucidate the deeds of Adeptus Astartes Chapter: The Mantis Warriors.

Founded during the mid 34th Millennium in order to defend the Imperium from the denizens of large Warp Storms, these sons of the Warhawk regardless invoked the wroth of the High Lords of Terra during their tenure as members of the Maelstrom Warders.

Humbled from their involvement of the Badab War and surviving their grueling century long Penitent Crusade, the Mantis Warriors continue to fight against the odds no matter the struggles they face.

The Mantis Warriors only sin was to be loyal to the oaths they sworn, and their allegiance to the Maelstrom Wardens may have been a mistake they nevertheless made to repent for following a Tyrant, but they are absolved of their sins they continue to fight for the Emperor and his realm.

The Mantis Warriors seemed to have gotten the short stick in the Badab Wars. Perhaps a downside of splitting Legions into Chapters... Too much confusion about who's supposed to do what.

I love the Mantis Warriors a great deal, but their war with the Carcharadons was absolutely hilarious. Your whole strategy of hit and run/ death by a thousand cuts has served you so well your whole chapter’s history… only to run into a group of guys who see that and think “nah cousins, we’re not playing COD, this is Mortal Kombat.” They play so rough the Fire Angels didn’t know what side they should be fighting for and had to withdraw to take some mental health days 😂😂😂

I’ve actually been making one in space marine 2 for the sniper class. Sadly there aren’t any camo patterns to mimic the baddab vet squads, but it’s still been fun regardless.

According to some test, I took a bunch of years ago for fun, this is my designated chapter if I were a space marine, honestly I hated it back then cuz I knew nothing of them and rather be an Ultramarine or a Black Templar or a Salamander, but now I'm pretty proud :)

"Masters of guerilla warfare, ambush tactics"... errrm are these hybrid chapters? Like, they sound more like raven guards with their MO, but since they are white scars successor, they should love speed too.. 😅

The white scars produce the most loyalist unwittingly traitors. Yet jagatai had lots of common sense his sons seems to misplace from time to time.
