I got cursed out by a little old lady who asked me in Spanish what time a bus was coming. I was singing in Spanish, she waved at me and asked. When I answered in English she got confused. I told her in Spanish that I don’t speak Spanish and she snapped.

I’m the whitest skinned Afro/Spanish/Filipina… I sing in Spanish and French, I can understand a little Spanish.. but I do not speak anything but English. My Filipino family also speaks multiple Filipino dialects. 😭

Actually for us Brits getting taught Sex Ed at age 13 is considered pretty late, most of us acutely get our first lesson of Sex Ed between the ages of 8 to 10. I know as at age 8 I was taught Sex Ed and we have a very good reason for doing so as the UK had a high amount of young teen pregnancies at the time and actually during when my generation was starting to learn Sex Ed there was loads of news reports of a lot of 11 year olds getting pregnant at the time.

So yah we definitely had to learn it as soon as possible
