My smoothest action knife is my Koenig Arius but my Spyderco Smock is probably second now since I put skiff bearings on it

My mini grip, pm2, bugout, Para 3, and my small sebenza 31 are all super smooth. And obviously the handful of knives I have that run bearings are all super smooth.

I’ve got some smooth knives, but nothing beats my Spyderco Smock. I took out the 2nd detent ball, threw in some skiff bearings, and gave it a good lubing and it’s just ridiculous how smooth it is.

Great knives. I've had my Civivi Elementum button lock in my pocket since it came out. Swings like butter. Which reminds me I haven't had to lube it in forever. I like that shark lock, I hadn't seen them on anything but the Demko AD before. Very cool. May need one.

Why is your bugout so smooth? Are the washers different? Or is it just broken in?

My smoothest and no specific order are the Damned Design Basilisk, Kizer Begleiter 2, Chaves Redencion 229, ZT 0393 GLCF and tied between the Civivi Conspirator and CJRB Pyrite (stainless steel). The CJRB is an amazing button lock knife for right under $50. I have some higher end knives that have very good smooth actions as well but not as smooth These 5
