Hello, I was interested in a Stella 20000pg and the 30000 I was wondering on top tension spool knob around it is it plastic ? Are there a lot of plastic piece on this reel. On the 30000 I know the spools bigger to retain more fishing line but is it power gear as well or high gear doesn't say thank you for taking your time to respond I appreciate dearly have a wonderful day.

I have the 14K (2019) and 18k (2020). The QC leaves something to be desired. Lots side to side play in the rotor shaft. Plastic bushings, play in rotor and play in handle. My cheaper reels have less play in than these stellas. After moderate use get binding in rotor shaft going up and down . oh and most bearings inside are no longer Japanese S-ARB they are Singapore and Thailand (not Japanese like the 2013 reels) also the anti reverse bearingis now composite material not stainless steel like 2013.
I will not be buying another Stella, I will try Daiwa saltigas next

Why in the world would you drop fish with a spinning reel that is intended for surface water casting ? A conventional lever drag "jigging" reel would be far easier to fish. Spinning gear is inherently backward when you consider that all the force of the rod bend is against your wrist and no good way to lift or apply leverage with both hands on the rod.
