I find it crazy how Oppenheimer didn’t receive any award or recognition for his accomplishments. However the movie has definitely brought light to his career. As he is now getting the recognition he deserved.

Oppenheimer had the mathematics behind blackholes. Had he been alive beyond 67....he might have won the nobel

After watching the movie, I felt an instant admiration for Oppenheimer. I went to the theatre for Nolan, but came out absolute fan of Oppenheimer. I instantly connected to his personality. The moral dilemma he went through has been excellently depicted by Murphy.

Nice that the movie showed it so accurately! I really like Astronomy and Physics, but I never really understood Black Holes, I think they have showed it very accurately in this movie.
He was talking about things so dense and massive that even light couldn’t escape from it.

It is really crazy what those two knew way before their time. I wonder how their minds worked and all their ideas and thoughts. They both are for sure 1 in millions to come and the great things is both lived in the same world at the same time. May they Rest In Peace both great men doing what they loved for the better of humanity.

It’s cool to know Oppenheimer made such a significant contribution to astrophysics despite being known mainly for his quantum physics work. Sad he never got the recognition he deserved to get a Nobel prize

Ramanujan gave Theories and Mathematics about Black Holes, 100 years before the concept of Black Holes.
And it is sad that no one even talks about him
