i have this phone. and i want to upgrade. but what am i getting? a new android system ? like android marshmallow. mine is Kitkat 4.4.2

This phone is like an old Ferrari F40 :

Its 4G is as fast as my recent 5G phone that rarely works at 5G (poor coverage).

As a hotspot it gives more hours than any modern Android 14 phone.

I use it as a alarm clock and an emergency hotspot, and its monster battery and supreme Mediatek chipset allows me to run it for two months without charging its battery.

To avoid stressing the battery I charge it when it lowers to close to 40%, that continues as new after 10 years of use.

When I use it as my main phone some years ago, I was charging it weekly because of the 2.5Ah battery and energy saving Mediatek CPU.

I replace it because lots of apps removed support for Android KitKat, like WhatsApp, Facebook messenger lite, etc..

Negative things:
- Lenovo never released any software update for it
- I had to root it because of Chinese pre-installed bloatware
- display is not Full-HD (just HD) and does not have enough nits be used under intense sun.

Why can't you just explain it other than flash through a computer screen?
Even on fullscreen i can hardly make out some of the stuff you are clicking on.
