I was deeply disturbed by the Finale funeral service for Bishop Kervy Brown, particularly at the 38:00 mark when Bishop Albert L. Jamison began speaking. After a choir performance and his own singing, Jamison went on an appalling tangent, exploiting the situation to solicit money from attendees. As someone who is part of Hezekiah Walker's church, his actions were especially disheartening. My own mother, despite my protests, donated $400. Jamison’s comments were outrageous; he suggested that if it were up to him, he would make everyone place money at the deceased’s feet and even implied that he would charge $500 just to sit in the front row. Shockingly, he carried out exactly what he had proposed, which felt almost premeditated. His behavior was nothing short of disgraceful and manipulative.
