I think that when your getting up to these crazy high refresh rates, the pixel response of oled becomes a must so that the pixels can keep up with what's being asked of them.

The moving the camera to match the screen motion was the best comparison I've ever seen without having a higher frame rate screen watching or locked into YouTube's frame rate

Iirc, the reason for the text readability problems on the OLED display is that it uses an RGBW subpixel layout, which is not assumed as an option while rendering in windows, causing text blurring. Microsoft is the one to blame for the text blur, but nobody can fix that except for Microsoft by issuing an update.
