For anyone interested I think this is the same kit from a US supplier:

They also have a couple Guarneri sets:

Great series! I have subscribed and am going back to make certain that I have commented and “liked” on every video. Thanks so much.

Kimon, any comments on the accuracy or quality of the template set now that you've spent some time with it? What options are available for a template set with higher accuracy; poster from The Strad, or other?

Bought the 1715 Strad pattern branded Academia Cremonensis; looks identical to the one branded Grande Liutai. Contents are great, but going through the set I realized there's a lot not included, such as scroll back/outside template, pegbox template, neck root template, pattern of neck surface for fingerboard, fingerboard contour, means for measuring neck projection, guide to f-hole placement, guide to bass bar placement, or graduation guidelines for top and back. Have to get all this information from other sources and hope they match that model.

OK, for anyone purchasing the Stradivari 1715 mold be advised that this mold is NOT a faithful reproduction of the 1715 model. The measurements are different from what a 1715 should be. Does it make a difference or matter that much ? You should be the one to decide that.

Hello, would you say that the Kit/Mold is accurate to the 1715 model or is it just a close copy ? Lots of talk on the internet about how inaccurate a lot of the molds are to the original their copied from. Thank you for your thoughts on the subject.

Maestro, could we talk about materials a bit? I've seen some violins for sale on ebay that were coming out of China.
The fingerboards were of painted mystery hardwood as well as the nuts and saddles. Comment please? Also, as I was on you tube I saw a luthier from my home area working and he was commenting on the wood he was using for a sound post. The wood was California redwood. I am of course familiar with redwood as it's native to my home. What do you think of it as a violin part?

Please, can you tell me some sites to buy the woods, the shapes and the tools?

I am a complete beginner.
I seen your video. And find your build series very helpful. So I went online to purchase a template as you did in this video. But in America we seem to only have eBay and cheap China knock offs.
So I went online to the company in Italy where you got yours.
I want presumably the best and the most accurate. Are you in the USA? Or where are you?
Did you find this kit/mold to be satisfactory?
Thank you for you time! And please keep making videos. I'm really enjoying your passion and work.
