I got this problem too, i bought 5000 bling with 2, 49 and instead, it refunded all my gems and took 151 gems. Just don't EVER try to refund. It's only gonna make you lose all your progress and resources

The reason it's -5000 gems is due to the value within the brawl pass, hence the extreme negative amount of gems.

I bought the brawl pass plus and they charged me the brawl pass plus and normal brawl pass. So I went to the play store and clicked the report problem without knowing it would automatically ask for a refund, since I thought it would just report my problem.
A day later I didnt get a warning or nothing, they just revoked 5000 gems from my account.
I had 300+ gems, I spoke to tech support and at first I got paired with someone who actually wanted to help, but then I got another person to help me who she didnt try help me and basically told me to f*ck off, even tho I sent screenshots proving I got double charged.
So yeah, just wanted to write my horrible experience with their tech support
