sans the skeleton is a fictional character in the 2015 role-playing video game undertale by toby fox. he lives in snowdin town with his brother papyrus. he is introduced as a comic relief and acts as the final boss if the player chooses to kill all the monsters and go down the genocide route. he attacks using bones and gaster blasters. he is most known for his theme music megalovania. his name is based on the comic sans font, which is used for most of his in-game dialogue. the character was praised by critics for his dialogue and boss fight, which is considered to be the most difficult in the game. he made a brief cameo in deltarune, as well as appearing in super smash bros ultimate as a mii gunner costume.

jack skellington is a character and the main protagonist of the 1993 film the nightmare before christmas. jack is the "pumpkin king" of halloween town, a fantasy world based solely on the halloween holiday. jack is voiced by chris sarandon. danny elfman provided jack's singing voice in the original film and soundtrack album, with sarandon providing jack's singing voice in subsequent productions. his overall appearance is a skeleton dressed in a black pin-striped suit and a bow tie that strongly resembles a black bat. originally, his suit was meant to be completely black, but it blended with the background too well, so it was changed. at the beginning of the film, jack makes his grand entrance by emerging out of a fire-breathing dragon-themed fountain. his last name is a play on the word "skeleton". he has a ghost dog named zero for a pet, who has a small glowing nose that looks like a jack-o'-lantern. he is adored by sally, a rag doll created by dr. finklestein. the character is a popular design on bags, hats, clothing, umbrellas, belt buckles, pet collars and other items.

The video has definitely made the battle grow on me. Even the lyrics feel better when paced out with the visuals. This is a definitive step up from your previous stuff, and might even become my favorite battle in the series (that's as someone who hasn't watched the movie or played the game). I know it's likely just because it seems like something Jack would say, and for the beat, but I like how for the start of Jack's rhymes have him repeat a word or two before moving on to the next line, which is similar to how Jevil sometimes talks, who was basically the Sans of Deltarune Chapter 1, and such.
