In such a situation, panic and fear were inevitable. We huddled together and prayed incessantly, asking for protection and safety. Our prayers were not only to ask God for protection, but also to keep our spirits strong. When the storm passed, although the house suffered some damage, we were all safe. That experience made me realize the great power of prayer in extreme situations.
