Yea even that pay doesn’t count for high food/gas electricity so 19$ isn’t going to help

Nicer apartments downtown average $1200+ for one bedroom one bath! It’s ridiculous! Cheaper in suburbs but the crime isn’t worth it. Something needs to be done.

As a former Emergency Medical Technician making only 12-14 per hour for close to 10 years struggling, and under 20 per hour I consider wage theft and straight up modern SLAVERY period. 😢

Minmum wages don't need to increase, inflation neededs to decrease. Inflation has been out of control since the late 1950s and has only gotten worse in past years. High inflation equals more people in poverty.

The word affordable doesn't mean $800 and up rent.
