We really enjoyed the take on this video. We haven’t done Jumanji yet but will be interesting if it holds the test of time 🐻🐻

Not managed to visit this area yet, I guess I'll get around to it but for some reason, it doesn't wow me enough to warrant the visit. Just out of interest, have you visited Tornado Springs at Paultons?

A really interesting video! I don't think IP is inherently a good or a bad thing — it's all about the execution. I think when it's used well it delivers on creating the aspirational fantasy of entering that world. But equally I think choosing not to use IP can hurt something. I read this interview with Tony Baxter where he spoke about when developing the Indiana Jones Adventure they could have easily done basically the same ride without paying for the IP, but then it comes with the baggage of being perceived as an inauthentic rip-off of those tropes and that world.

Based on what I've seen of the World of Jumanji, whilst it looks nice enough, I'm not sure it would be a less fulfilling experience if they took away the IP attachment. Is anything about this delivering on the specific appeal of those movies and that world?

I rode this ride for the first time toaday and the coaster itself has a great first ten seconds but after that there are some dead spots
