RD1 CR-V OUTPERFORMS COLORADO ON MUDDY HILL IN THE RAIN!

We were looking for a certain track back in the day when we got rained out and had to turn back. Steeper hills than this ahead and a rising stream, I wanted to go back up this hill in the dry as that was enough of a challenge.

Only the locked 80 series made it, but the CR-V made it over the first root that hung up the Colorado!

With a little more gusto behind the engine it would've made it, but it barely got up to climbing RPM with the runup, and the creek as a starting point gave little traction.

So is the CR-V AWD or did they actually make 4x4 versions?

Where abouts are you located in Queensland, also got an rd1 I’ve been taking on some trails!

Needs more aggressive smaller size tires, power is not enough to rotate big size wheels on rd1 trust me on that
