Lemmy's wall of noise was awesome matched with his gnarly voice, the fast drums and wild ride guitar work. MotorHead was like the whiskey they drank. Hard and straight.

Lemmy was the Ace of Bass, I saw the sign.

Should have had Snaggletooth on the pedal and have its eyes light up red to indicate when the pedal is on.
Would have been a nice collectors piece then.

My best friend gave me this pedal as a gift and with my setup i love it. I don't really think it's Lemmy's sound, but I really love the different styles of distortion you can get from it. I'm playin it with a Sandberg California bass, Trace Elliot Top and an old Ampeg cab. Since my Sandberg has a very warm and clean sound, this pedal brings out the beast when I need it. Wouldn't want to miss this Motörbass :)

Lemmy's tone is actually alot thicker than people think. Its not just mids and 0 bass

It's definitely a nasty bass tone and I like it. I'm not sure if it does the Lemmy sound for me. I feel like you need a guitar amp for that.

Very good, considering you're using a precision and single notes mainly while Lemmy played a lot of chords. I remember reading about '78 his sound man saying he rolled all the bass off and sometimes you couldn't tell if it was him or Eddie playing and in later years he used Thunderbird pickups rather than Ricks .

You need jack and coke, Marshall stack and rickenbacker not a pedal

You should demo an all tube bass rig like an Ampeg SVT or V4B and compare it to your Darkglass or see if you can truly replicate the sound with pedals!

I have an okko fx motor bass pedal and it really blows my mind because of that dirty and gnarly distortion of lemmy kilmister's sound pretty much flawlessly as the sound is captured into just one unique pedal that is so awesome to have and I am a proud owner of the okko fx motor bass pedal.

Sounds more like Cliff Burton than Lemmy

I just go full again on my Marshall with a P Bass. Man, it sounds just like Lemmy.

$300AU for this? Apparently there is a sucker born every minute. The best sounds you got were very close to what a secondhand ODB-3 could net you for $60. Rubbish.

Nah, you need a Rick for that. Sorry.

Got it. A great effect I must say. I'm a huge Lemmy fan. A YouTube video can't show the real sound of it! That piece will blow your ears!

Put your bass thru a Joyo Ultimate Drive and get the same thing sounding better. For only $40.

It does sound similar to Lemmy. You right about turning everything all way up. It doesn't have a lot of range but It does have enough to tweak everyone's sound, without loosing Lemmy's sound. Thanks for the review.
