Few observation facts
1. He has no intention to leave
2. He was forcefully drag out
3. Li Zhanshu(sat on the right) was trying to help initially, till he saw Xi looked at him. Getting a handkerchief to wipe his face is sign of nervous.
4. He tapped on Xi to confirm its his "imperial degree" to eject him, Xi nodded. He has no choice n obey.
5. He tapped on Li Ke Qiang to inform him he is leaving, hoping Li will support him. Li is too weak to do anything.
6 The rest of the party members seated on front row dont look at him, some even pretend to talk to each other, a sign of "dont get me involve or dont get me in yr shxt"
7. Xi make used of Hu 's ejection to demonstrate his absolute power n to show past senior leaders hv no influenced on him and are all history.

Hu was casted out by force. If someone you known for half a century got sick, you at least watched him passionately with concern. No comrade comfort Hu, except Hu's close alley sat beside Hu, he was immediately stopped by other commade on his left. No one dare to look at Hu leaving because they were afraid to involve.

In Asian culture, respect of the elderly is of utmost importance. I, of the younger generation, may not always agree with it, but to kick a former leader out at a meeting, him being of elderly age, sums up China's current impotence and the self deluded reality they live in

That has to be hard. Hope he finds something he can do to enjoy life. Tuff times.

Does the Chinese not feel for him.. As I understand it.. This man was one of the key architects of China's economic miracle... I'm Indian and there is no love lost between our countries... But it broke my heart to see the anguish in that distinguished gentleman's eyes...You respect older people for their experience and what they had done for you... This is nauseating...

You can see Hu originally didn't want to leave and even touch Xi as to confirm if this is his idea, but after Xi nodded, he left without any further struggle.

That guy on the right was sweating and was going to help, but the person next to him was like "don't"

In ancient Chinese dynasties, the ministers will be given last meal with poison wine and duck drumstick. Very soon we hear he dying of sudden illness or covid. RIP. The great Chinese proverb always said to accompany the emperor is to accompany a tiger.

Whatever the reasons for Hu Jin Tao leaving the Congress are only known to those close to the leadership and may not be necessary be make known.
To those who support China 🇨🇳 there are positive ways to look at the incident .
1. If Hu is not in line with President Xi ..would he be allowed to attend and to sit next to Xi ?
2. He left, and the President nodded...maybe to accept the apology from Hu, who was reluctant to leave because the President was going to give an important speech.
3. He left because they realised if anything happened to him there, the proceedings would be disrupted.
4. His leaving is also symbolic...for the whole world to see...leaders CANNOT STAY FOREVER...he shows he is leaving ...and important issues are for the younger leaders to handle ...IT IS INDEED A SLAP IN THE FACE TO US for having a old frail leader to lead a big country...no leader can last forever...China knows this..
5. Others know their positions and roles, and they too leave, they are not 'dropped ', forced out, or sidelined as seen by those who do not want to see a peaceful China
This meeting is so symbolic...the old has to retired, while the experienced, effective and capable has to stay on to lead, while those who have done their part as team members have to give way to the younger ones to ensure smooth succession...truly a big nation of 1.2 billion people have many young leaders to choose from.
The world is blessed to see a peaceful transition of power ...everyone has gained from this ...a better world in the making .

Hu to Xi: It was only business, I've always liked you.
Xi to Hu: I understand that.
Hu to Li: Can you get me off the hook? For old times' sake?
Li to Hu: Can't do it, Sally.

With the Communists, you're either IN or you're OUT. The party is in and everyone else is out.

So sad, one of the good president of CCP, a prosperous and open minded good old time he had brought to China and world, and then the former leader got casted out by fellow one now....Xi is the emperor now, RIP CHINA, go back to Imperialism again after Qing dynasty.... it's just so sad.

This reminds me of SADDAM HUSSEIN when he consolidated power in the beginning of his Rein of Terror.
