BJ still doing the right thing and taking on injustice with Truckers Against Trafficking is the best news and update that I needed this year.

I remember being a kid and wanting to be a truck driver! In fact, I used to play on my grandpa's, lawn tractor! And pretnd I was a truck driver! Loved shows like Bj and the Bear, Moving On etc. And of course, movies like Smokey And The Bandit! White Line Fever and Convoy! As well as others! Of course I'm not a Truck Driver, lol! But I loved the good ole days!

I’m a truck driver of 37 years in Australia . We have a guy on the Hume Highway that runs between Sydney & Melbourne, around 900 kilometres each way . His truck is a late model big cab aerodyne pulling a b double & from truck to both trailers it has the exact same paint job as BJ’s truck . Looks absolutely awesome . A couple of times I called him on the radio & asked where bear was & would say that he is asleep in the bunk because Bear has to drive the last leg .

I loved this show as a kid! It was right up there with The Dukes of Hazard. I can't believe how young the actor looks. He looks better than I do and I'm a lot younger!

This may have already been mentioned, but Greg Evigan had his CDL during the show, and kept it active for 20yrs afterwards. The reason I know this is because I asked him that question at a film festival several months ago, and he said "I rarely get that question, but I was given a few weeks to learn how to drive the truck and get my CDL. After the show I kept it in case I needed to drive to make ends meet, and kept renewing it for that reason for 20 years." Super nice guy, down to earth, very approachable.

Great rundown! I have seen people use the Tamia 1/14 scale radio controlled Globeliner as a base for a BJ and the Bear truck, some of which look absolutely amazing!
