Amid the massive protests across the nation, Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina resigned on August 05. Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina has left Dhaka in a military chopper amid nationwide violence in the country. Protesters in Dhaka climbed atop a large statue of former President and Sheikh Hasina’s father Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, and chiselled the statue's head. Meanwhile, Army Chief General Waker-Us-Zaman addressed a Press Conference and informed about the takeover of the country. He also informed that former PM Hasina had left the country and they will form an interim government. Student activists had called for a march to the capital Dhaka on Monday in defiance of a nationwide curfew to press Hasina to resign. A day after deadly clashes across the country killed nearly 100 people, about 150 people were killed in protests last month.

This violence/ coup in Bangladesh creates win - win situation. If governance improves, it will meet socio- economic agenda & if worsen, it meets religious agenda, by which people will go to non-islamic countries as refugees & later islamise that host country.
