The bolts locking the saw to the stand are installed upside down I believe in your video. They are carriage bolts so I think it needs to be threaded from the bottom side and the locking nut is visible from the top.

You made a nice video but the end stops are supposed to be installed on the black piece so you can extend the stop and also add support for longer boards…

Great instructions thank you! So are all miter saws standardized as far as thickness so when you mount on a stand and lay a board across the extension arm and saw the board lays across the saw level? In other words will the extension arm and surface of the saw be in the same plane? Or do miter saws very in vertical thickness? Thanks again!

Do you, by any chance, know the bolt size to attach the saw to the mounting brackets?

Idk about Y’all but I find it very difficult to remove the saw from the stand with the handles attached. You can’t freely access the clamps😢is it just me or is it necessary to remove the handles from the saw?

The saw bases have those safety levers that are pretty stupid and unnecessary. You should have shown how to take them off because if people cant find the safety lever, they wont be able to get the base off without breaking the cheap plastic release lever.

What an absolute nightmare it is putting the bolts into the bracket horrible design i seriously can’t believe these manufacturers are making machinery but lack the ability to create an accessible system absolutely ridiculous
