SOLUTION FOR THE ALL CUBES> Select all cubes -> shift + (select ice cube) -> object -> Link/Transfer Data -> Link Object Data

I'm not able to do the ice cube part where it replaces all of them with ice cube

Doing the cube, instead of putting it in the location of the other, adjusting the size and rotation, couldn't you have previously copied the geometry of the cube already made and applied it to the other ??
