Nice find! I don't think I'd CPR a book for a potential $30 gain. The cost of sending in 10 books averages around $30 per book and if the book gets less than the target book then you're looking at a loss. I understand the experiment but I think there are better things to spend time and money on than marginal improvements on non-keys.

Assuming your time has no value, you might break even if you get the grade bumps after paying cgc fees.

I wouldn't resubmit anything unless it was a 100 dollar bump at the least. Cgc is picky by certain items. I have gotten stuff bsck that I thought was a 9.2 and came back 8.5

Let me start by saying Sorry for doubting you keep up the great work and the great videos. You said something to throw make me doubt the validity of your story. You said you saw pictures of the books on eBay then said that the seller maybe never pulled them out of the box. Also the books being packaged pristinely back in the CGC box heightened that suspicion, but low and behold I check eBay sold listing and there it is exactly as you said.

Lot of people don't know what they are doing. They are losing money slabbing some of those books and selling at $20 is a lost with all the slabbing cost and shipping fees plus Ebay fees. Fun experiment. Interesting to see how much bump you can get.

Great haul. My son collects Transformers and has #10 signed by Stan Lee.

The Transformers #1 7.0 will be a lost cause to crack, you would have to get it to a 9.6 to make economic sense. Getting the book for less than what it would cost to have it graded, is strategy enough.

Really takes me back. I'm only a few years older than you, and I've mentioned before that I have several of these Transformers and even G.I.Joe the 80's series. I've got several Transformers Headmasters and Gi Joe vs the Transformers and Gi Joe Special missions. This was a very satisfying video.

All awesome books! I would love that #5 because Shockwave is such a cool character and I love that cover!

That black back cover on the Transformers #1 is going to be rough to clean up. Overall, great purchase!

Nice haul. I was a Transformers UK comics fan back in the '80s. I'm on the look out for some high grade issues of the US series. They will be mine, in time.

Are you factoring in the cost to submit in your potential profit after the CPR?

Another great video! I like that you don’t have an intro video or title card. You just get right to it.

*_I'd spend money on that Zelda book on your wall getting it pressed, dry cleaned and similar and submitting up to 5 times more, for a chance at a 9.8._*
*_The next movie out in The Nintendo Universe(or what they'll call it) will most likely be a Zelda movie-and a 9.8 will skyrocket in value._*
*_That is, if that's the first printing that's on your wall._*

Edit for "wrong word in a sentence error".

Why would you do this. Getting the grades you want would barely cover the cost of grading/postage/insurance. I'm just
