This is awesome, in the old cartoon Jack was constantly learning new skills and techniques after getting sent to the future, but rarely ever used anything other than his sword, which made sense, given that it might possibly be the most powerful thing around. Separating it from Jack and forcing him to utilize the various martial arts he learned, both in the past and future is a wonderful idea.
Even for a ultra-delayed continuation, expectations has been raised to the limit.

I cannot stress enough the immense importance of Samurai Jack Season 5 and the impact will have on Cartoon Network as a whole.

Everyone who is a long time fan or is discovering the show for the first time, I encourage you to support the official release. He lost his sword with the time travel gate guardian. He's too scared to retrieve it because aku is not his highest priority anymore, its the guardian...jack was the chosen one all along

I think Jack looked pretty darn awesome in full armor and wearing a mempo mask like traditional samurais and shoguns. Hope he can get a new set, maybe even 2 or more, before fighting Aku in both past and future and he heads back to the past.
