I just painstakingly cut out decal letters and arranged them as needed. I got 8 letters across the Gravis Captains shoulder banner.

That is an elite tip to use the tape to gauge the sizing.

I never even thought to use tape to guage sizing, that is a primo tip, thank you. I'm painting up some AT Titans and I'm going to have to try this on tue scrollwork.

Yo. Yall youtubers always have perfect tipped brushes. I keep ordering new brushes and its like the tips get ruined so fast.. can some of yall recommend high quality brushes with good pointy tips for minis i can buy? Id appreciate it

Dude's seriously mixing paint to write 3mm of font. 🙄 You don't need the tape, just start at the middle letter.
