Erykah Badu is definitely one of the greatest Neo-Soul artist to do it. and she is a goddess.

The song won Best Female R&B Vocal Performance at the 1998 Grammy Awards, spent two weeks at #1 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart and went to #12 on the Hot 100. Erykah Badu is definitely a leader of the Neo soul movement from the early 90s with other artists like India.Arie, Jill Scott, and Lauryn Hill. While her most well known hits are "Bag Lady" and "Tyrone", I would also highly recommend "Other Side of the Game" (very jazzy and showcases her range) and "Didn't Cha Know" (you'll get lost in the groove).
