This song is dedicated to a forest tribe that I invented for my fantasy world (in which the novel will take place), the Alvae (Alva in Singular). I used Celtic instruments as well as a full orchestra for this song and wanted to give it several mood changes; Peaceful, ethereal, mysterious and a sense of pride and honour. It was difficult for me to show each aspect of the Alvae in this song because their characteristics are very complex.
The tribe of the Alvae will not be mentioned in the fantasy book itself that I'm writing because the story takes place several millennia before the tribe even emerges so for now this song is the only thing you'll get to „see" from them, I'm sorry.^^ I will maybe write an own novel about them in the future but at the moment I can't tell whether or not it will happen.

I have been pregnant for 7 months now. Whenever i play your music its like it puts the baby into a trance. The kicks are softer and a lot less noticable. He/she is a fan of yours already just like its mother. Late at night when it wont stop kicking i play your music and both of our souls feel at peace. You are truely a great musician.

The word comes from my self-created language, from the adjective "alvi" which means "white". Personified it becomes "Alva" (the White), Alvae is the Plural. The tribe is called by that name because they are descendants from a civilization that was known as "Whiterobes" based on their priesthood. Anyway, I could go on forever like this, but I guess this explains already a lot. xD

Adrian, I cannot tell you how many times your music got me trough the most difficult days. Just today, my boss freaked out about something and I needed to do a lot of tasks. But the problem was, emotions were so strong and negative, but then I remembered your music, I am playing it still...calmed me down, made me be more focused and relaxed to finish my work. This is a song that is about a part of my fantasy world and it is about a specific tribe. This tribe was expelled by another tribe into the forest, they became a very unique culture and that is what the song is about
The word Alvae means "the white ones"

Personally, I thought that "Alvae" was the name of the woman who appears in the image, although in my mind it will continue like this

I will never forget this song. It was while listening to this that I found records of my Great Grandfather immigrated to America from Ireland through Ellis Island. Which I had been trying to find information about for years. I know it doesn't seem like much to most people, but it is huge to me. And what better way to experience that then while listening to the music of my favorite composer? <3

Ya celtic music is under rated being of celtic descendent myself I love listing to this kind of music it makes me feel more in tune to my heritage. The celts mighty warriors and master craftsman and musicians proud to have some of their blood flowing through me.
