WATCH: Saikrishna Prakash testifies in Amy Coney Barrett Supreme Court confirmation hearing

Professor Saikrishna Prakash, a University of Virginia law professor, testified Oct. 15 in the final day of the Senate Judiciary Committee’s Supreme Court confirmation hearing for Judge Amy Coney Barrett. He spoke in support of Barrett’s nomination to the high court. The hearing came about three weeks before Election Day. The judge did not appear before the committee on the final day of the hearing. Instead, both Republicans and Democrats called outside witnesses to speak to her record and approach to the law.
