i had the same issue with mine, i still have it but i had to fight with the seller on ebay for over a week and he wanted to give me partial refund so told him that if he wants a negative review to replace the tach or money back he ended up giving a full refund and kept the tach.

That would be my worry about a cheap one not to mention how exactly accurate are they. I would rather spend the money on one i know i going to work right. Its one thing if you want one to see what the engine is idling at and what its doing when your driving, but if you have a high dollar engine and race i would rather dump the money and get one that is accurate and reliable.

I bought 1 was testing it before fixing to my dashboard the needle goed up but does not return am not sure if the needle has a prob.. any advice..??

I bought one and was suprised to find that if you consider a 8000 rpm tack that is tagged out is around 9000 rpm, that means I have built an incredible motor or this thing is crap. I believe crap is the accurate Ya get what ya pay
