Article 1 : India that is bharat is a union of states. Here UoS means, in India states don't come together by any agreement unlike usa. That's why we used union of states not federation of states.

Ok but other than social they should level up maths and science too and shift to practical knowledge, also introduce calculas as a subject in 8-9th class to reduce burden in class 11, as there is a very big difference between 10th and 11th class

The whole point of studying history is not to make the students proud for the things that happened hundreds of years ago but to know how the society works and changes over the years like in mughal and then the consequences of colonisation etc.

😢😢😢They should include Dwarka Excavations 5000yrs, Pomphuhar forts 7000yrs, bhimbetka rocks 10000yrs.
They are missing even in new ncert of class 6.

NCERT compulsory rakhna chahiye pratyek boards ke schools mein...

U can never understand history while supporting any ideology, U have to study everything u have to study the thing that at the time of indus valley civ there was mesopotamian civ, u have to study about different ppl and there works, not he was hindu so hero, there is Ashoka, Chandragupta and dhanannad as well . Pushyamitra shung was a hindu and u should study what he did u should study . Then u should be aware of gupta rule . U should also study Timur and vasco de gama ... U should study mughals and britishers as well . Shivaji should be studied but at the same time Tipu sultan cant be ignored . South indian history of cholas cheras pandeyas needed to be studied with Delhi sultanate rulers ... Then u can get 360 degree view of history

Bro NCERT social science mein Pehle bhi 'bharat' sabda ke origin aur vedic indian civilization ke bare mein information acchi tarah se diya hua tha. I don't think there's any revolutionary information except highlighting the dialogue "India, that is Bharat".
But it's a nice thing that they have integrated three books in one. Students don't have to pay for three different books.
