Sonic Prime's First Full Length Trailer Looks AMAZING! Reaction & Analysis!

Sonic Primes first and final trailer is here and I did a reaction and breakdown of everything in it. We hear Tails voice as well as knuckles and a lot of Sonic's voice actor Deven Mack. Multiple Eggman or eggmen in this and a bit more Amy & Rouge. Netflix's Sonic Prime releases December 15th 2022!

I'm guessing that the "shatter-spaces" are what makes Sonic find, befriend and assemble his group, at least five times. Seems like a lot of character focus in this series.

Let me get this straight: Big was voiced by Klye Herbert in Team Sonic Racing and Sonic Frontiers (Gohan) and Brian Drummond voices Eggman (Ocean Dub Vegeta)

I think the Canadian cast did an excellent job capturing these characters' voices. I'm not head-over-heels excited for this by any stretch, but I am intrigued - at the very least it brings Sonic back to being "adventurous", rather than being just a gag-reel like Boom.

I wonder if there will be context as to why Sonic and Shadow are fighting when here Shadow sounds like he's calling Sonic in a way where he's looking for his help.

My personal guess is that as Sonic is thrown between worlds, Shadow is deemed the only one fast enough to bring him back home, except Sonic keeps jumping between worlds trying to help people when he's really needed at home so Shadow keeps missing him. In fact, I bet Shadow keeps saying something like, "Sonic! Slow down!"

However I really can't tell how much we'll see of Shadow; I wouldn't be surprised if we only get a few lines out of him until the finale. It's sad, because sure we see him in almost all the games now but Shadow hasn't had a lot to do with animated shows so far. We just get a few episodes featuring him beating the crap out of people, not actually characterising him. And the reason it's sad is that those episodes always seem to go down well. His episode in Sonic 2006 came closest to that. But are you telling me we're gonna see more of Big than of Shadow? I mean, I'm happy to see Big improved on. I think his voice was AWFUL.

In the promotional material we see Soldier Knuckles, Pirate Rouge, Jungle Amy, and Shatterspace Tails, so I think Sonic will be rebuilding his team from the members who have changed the least in the worlds they come from, one at a time. I feel like there will be an Eggman for every universe Sonic has to go through - maybe one member of the Council will be dedicated to each one. Or maybe not. Maybe we'll see more worlds than these, maybe not - it's just a minute trailer for the first few episodes.

This is just wild guesses, btw. It's the sort of thing I'd expect, since I write stuff.

I had a theory about the incident with Shadow towards the end. Very unlikely, but we’ll see: So, what if Shadow either

A) Went missing because he got sucked into a Shatterspace prior to Sonic getting warped (the lesser likely candidate).

Or B) He, since those shatter crystals looked powerful, has a connection with the multiversal binding because both the crystals and he have a lot of chaos energy. Thus, he’s able to figure things out, such as where Sonic is.

Idk just a thought. Your reaction and thoughts are helpful nonetheless! And I totally get the confusion with Cyber Space and Shatterspace.

In the scene right before Eggman goes "CRUSH THEM ALL!!" I saw Orbot and Cubot in front of him. Hopefully their comedy is written better in this show than in the games.

Heck yeah! Let's go! I'm very excited and I only have one word: AWESOME!! this is getting better and better and I'm already hype to watch it, the animation, the fluidity, the dubbing, everything is very good! I can't wait for launch day! I would like to understand why Sonic had that effect of white "rays" around his body as if it were static, is it because he is not from that dimension and got there in a brute way or does it have anything to do with Paradox Prism? because it looks like he has trouble running down the street and it's like the soles of his shoes are deteriorating (or is it Eggman's invention to try to stop Sonic from running freely?) I also liked the Eggmen advice, they have a more unique look and with their own look different from concept arts and I particularly liked the middle Eggman with the star on his chest and the kid Eggman with the headset and playing on the portable console (this kid has style) I also liked the little preview of the other dimensions, the prehistoric/jungle dimension looks pretty cool and the characters have a more tribal style, they even have tribal tattoos and i think that's cool and the pirate dimension got me really excited because who doesn't love pirates? (As a One Piece fan, I was already anxious about this dimension) the visuals of the characters are also really cool and well done and something that I was already thinking about and that seems to be real is that Sonic's gloves and shoes are not going to be just for aesthetics and visuals, they will also have different functions that accompany the design and the dimension that Sonic is in, it was not possible to know exactly what their function in the dimension of the rebels but in the prehistoric/jungle dimension the gloves and shoes create energy claws that Sonic can use for things like locomotion and combat and even makes him look like Wolverine or X-23 and in the pirates' dimension it seems that the sneakers gain a design reminiscent of a Hovercraft or in this case a Hover Shoes Which allows Sonic to run freely on water, I'm really excited for this series and I think it's going to be the best Sonic show ever
