A well-structured naming convention helps keep your Google Ads account organized, making it easier to manage and navigate. When campaigns, ad groups, and ads are clearly named, you can quickly identify and access specific components, saving time and reducing the risk of errors. This is particularly important for larger accounts with numerous campaigns and ad groups.

Proper naming conventions facilitate more effective performance tracking and analysis. By including key information such as campaign objectives, target audience, geographic location, and date ranges in your names, you can quickly understand the purpose and scope of each campaign.

When multiple team members or stakeholders are involved in managing a Google Ads account, a standardized naming convention ensures everyone is on the same page.

Clear naming conventions also facilitate better reporting and sharing of insights, as the names themselves convey critical information about the campaigns.

Super important. however, a part of the convention is the casing and its consistency, and in the examples in this video there is no consistency. for example all the campaigns were in uppercase except for the brand ('_Brand'). IMO lowercase is best, but the key is to be consistent in any convention you choose.
