I got into the tuner scene in 1999 in PHX, AZ. And when these cars were hitting the streets with 2004 WRX’s and the it was such a good time.
Didn’t know at the time these machines would be even more sought after now.
The were $50k back then and 100k miles on them now and still fetching the same.

10 years after they discontinued a car they still put them in showrooms every time they get one in the dealership you know yah done fucked up when you discontinued it.

so funny story time: I work at a mitsubishi dealership and have for a long time. Youd Rotfl if you saw what happens when we go to pick up a dealer trade and both of us (gotta bring 2 people 1 to drive the dealer trade and 1 to drive back the car you drove there with) are like eh all the way there. And then then once they realize theyre picking up an Evo they start fighting over whos driving it back. Because both of us wanna drive the evo back. Even more hilarious when 1 of us already owns that same evo model, But doesnt matter its a fight to death over whos driving the evo back. Then once we get it back it gets checked out by service then the detailers wanna fight over who gets to do the full detail and then every single time it goes dead center of the showroom. And while its there it draws the biggest crowds peoeple are all around it checking out the evo. No one gives 2 shits about the latest greatest shiny in the showroom. Even those of us who own an Evo gotta check it out lol.
