I love that they captured the fact that, on a pacer, the passenger door is longer than the driver's side door. Bravo!

My mom had one of those cars when I was a Gosh that was a long time ago and it even sounds just like it too.

The actual pacer had a longer passenger side door than driver side door and they carried it reliably on the cartoon version. (Look at the bit of door rearward the window: It's about 4 inches longer on passenger side.)

Acer is Scary. :o I imagine Acer Scaring Little kids, and big kids, in fact he scares every body. Acer scares me for some reason. One time I had a dream that Acer was chasing me. I was running as fast as I could, then I tripped and fell, then Acer Capptured me and put me in a cage, and then took me to their secret hideout where they try to hurt me. But when they weren't looking, I used a metal filer and escaped, and ran as fast as I could. Then I woke up with a startle and a sigh of relief. Eve

I was thrilled when I heard that the Pacer...one of my all-time favorite cars...was going to be in Cars 2.

I was the opposite of thrilled when I saw its role. -_- The Mirthmobile deserved better.

This car is an AMC Pacer (American Motors Corporation) a car in the 70's, AMC also made the Gremlin as well.
