Top 5 Small Sailboats / Daysailers Under $100K | Price & Features

In this episode, we're sharing my top list of some of the most affordable small sailboats or daysailers under US$ 100,000, and we'll talk about their price and features as well. Some of these options push the boundaries of the definition of daysailers as weekenders or family boats, ideal for the boating enthusiast who wants the thrill of sailing without the commitment of a much larger vessel. As they say, big things can come in small packages, so be sure to check out our number 1 choice!

To go sailing, you don't necessarily need a 30-foot sailboat with bunks, a galley, and a head. In reality, all we need is a hull, mast, rudder, and a decent sail to get started.

I have such fond memories of learning to sail on a Flying Scot. Such a simple but sturdy boat. Glad to see they're still getting love.

I have been watching a few of your videos now and I’m really enjoying the fact that you’re including price’s

I really liked the Baycruiser, both the slightly old style look of the hull and some of the interior design choices too - that stowable galley was a great idea. I'd never buy a new boat, but would be interested to see how the used market looks for this one.

We run a Maxus 24 from northman yachts in Poland. Plenty of sailing in a small package. Trailarable

It is a pity that Beneteau abandoned the First 21.7/Twenty series boats as these were much more affordable. Plenty of second hand out there, of course, but the new Seascape/First series are quite expensive and IMHO are really for the race market. Interesting you chose the Swallow Yachts 26 over their Coast 250 which seems a more attractive boat yet shares many of the ideas. Interesting video.

Well, well, well... Just found your channel today because of the title re the top 5 over $500K which I enjoyed very much.
Next I went to check out your list of videos and found this topic interesting, yet never thought of before! Now you have me contemplating my need for two sailboats!!! One for local outings on Lake Michigan and one for outings on the oceans... Enjoyed finding you! : )

That Baycruiser was an unknown to me and put a smile on my face by its stunning interior and some good ideas. My heart goes to the Seascape - First 24 type of boats, but First 24 or 27, if great sailing fun, still are weekenders at about 100 000 - 130 000€ complete. That's a lot of money for a daysailer. Most new racy cabin boats (mostly French? German or from the Balcan area) are bloody expensive these days. The price of small serie production or the trend and marketing???
Shame the Polish boats are never really tested or compared (they are almost always tested on lakes at 2Bft...) as they seem to be the only real cost limiting alternative.

I downsized to an O'day Mariner, 19 ft. Fraction rig, over 8 ft cockpit, small lockable cabin. It sails very well. Over 4000 built, and still in production.

Cheeky if not just rude.- You have used a photo of a couple on a Domani S30 sportyacht daysailer as click bait without a single mention of them in video?!

Thank you fir this wonderful review. I'd love to see your review on micro sailing inflatable catamarans, such as HappyCat and MiniCat types.

Maybe I'm missing something, what is the boat at 8:28? I remember a Dutch sailboat like this one, having a mizzenmast, not sure if it's silly or brilliant, but unlike most boats this size.

Aren’t these the same as what’s called a Folkboat on the my classic boat channel?
