"Pig" deserves all the love it's getting. Truly a unique piece of art about grief and loss. Definitely my favorite movie of the year so far.

It’s disappointing how much wasted potential is being thrown together into the Purge franchise. I feel it should be so simple. It’s such a fun and frightening idea.

Nice ranking! Here’s mine and I also want to say I plan on rewatching the Fear Street trilogy soon so I hope I like them more when I rewatch them.

So glad you loved Pig as much as I did! For my money, it's the best movie of the year so far (though not necessarily my personal favorite). An absolute must-see.

Regarding the Fear Street tone/rating: my sense is that the movies were made for adults who grew up on Goosebumps/R.L Stein's books; people who have nostalgia for his style of "kiddie horror" but are now old enough to watch R-Rated movies.

The Green Knight was amazing probably the best film of the summer so far before The Suicide Squad comes out. Having seen Old, Black Widow, Jungle Cruise, The Forever purge, Space Jam New legacy this month in theaters and all of the films on streaming. It has no action or thrills but instead offers a slow thought provoking story with gorgeous dream like visuals.

1. Pig: Really good emotional journey with two amazing performances
2. The Green Knight: Awesome slow burn fantasy with beautiful direction and awesome ending too.
3. Black Widow: Fun marvel movie that could’ve been better
4. No Sudden Move: Decent crime thriller that is a bit too complicated for it’s own good.

Enjoyed them all but one and two are the real good stuff.

Didn't love any of them but Jungle cruise was my favourite

Glad you saw the Green Knight! I totally understand not connecting with it, but it was 100% for me. Probably my favorite movie I've seen in a theater (granted I didn't see a movie in a theater for 2 years).
