The 1st time I heard this (which was last night) I thought to myself "he's singing about his children". Which in turn made me think of my husband and how much he loves our daughter and how much he loves me. This is an absolutely beautiful song!

We used this song for our daddy daughter dance at my daughters wedding. She had to stop listening to the words because she started to cry. She ended up listening to I later that day on the way to the honeymoon. She said she balled her eyes out. Thanks Michael.

This song is definitely my personal highlight of this album. It’s very heartbreaking that he had to go through all this pain, but thanks god it all turned out right and this beautiful song has been created. I have a feeling, that he only sang the demo and didn’t involve himself too much in that song (and rather ignored it), just because he’s still in a lot of pain and still takes a lot time to process the emotional past and what happened, which is very understandable. I think it would’ve hurt him just way too much and the past would’ve always caught up on him if he did, even though he's ready to move on now to better and positive times, which is the right way. I still must be very hard for him to talk, think and sing about it. On tour, I think he’ll therefore skip and rather avoid that song and won’t sing it too many times on tour (if ever) because of it.
