Its these divorce stories that make me grateful i never got married. Im about to turn 43 in January and never went through that or had kids with anyone, im just free. Good for you for finally getting out while you still had a future to look forward to.

Surprised you mentioned Active Self Protection. He's a personal friend of mine. I'm pretty active in the gun world in Texas. Another great video Robb.

Been planing and acquiring approvals from all Dr.s involved & others needed! My tentative plan now is for Oct. 16th.!

Rob, the first bike that I considered for Thailand was the Ducati Hypermotard. After a lot of research I learned that it's not a Supermoto (SUMO)/Motard. It's a naked bike. The second was that the Ducati service is expensive and frequent. The Ducati parts are also very expensive. If a Ducati is still under warranty, you must bring it into the dealer to maintain your warranty.

If you're considering a crotch rocket, leaning over the tank is really hard on the back. Even young guys complain about it. They also are not fun, they pretty much just go fast in a straight line.

The Yamaha MT-09, appears to me to be a bike you might like to ride.

I'm considering building a Supermoto (SUMO)/Motard. It's not practical for shopping or carrying a passenger or comfortable for long trips. What it is good for are tight twisty corners, riding like a hooligan, riding on twisty mountains roads, a little bit of gravel roads and for congested city traffic.

I think a Supermoto is the safest bike for LOS, because you can turn it on a dime to avoid people who don't know how to ride or drive. I would advise putting Dual Purpose or ADV tires on a bike, to deal with the dirt on the roads.

A big Supermoto will beat any super bike in the corners on a track that doesn't have a long straight away.

A Supermoto seating position has you sitting upright. So it's easier on the back. Your current bike is more comfortable, because the seat is wider. The Supermoto seating is a hard dirt bike seat, because it's build off of a dirt bike.

A Supermoto is good for a 3 hrs max ride before your bottom side feels like it's being tortured. A wider after market seat and a gel insert will help extend the ride time.

If I decide to build a Supermoto I will consider bringing with me the aftermarket mods to Thailand. I estimate on the extreme high end for an all out racing Supermoto I would need $6, 000 USD in aftermarket parts. I'm not going to build a racing bike. But I want more power. I can't imagine what it would cost to mail the parts from the USA to Thailand. Decisions, decision, what too do?

More motorcycle video conversations is welcomed.

Be careful driving a motorcycle around the village and into town. A lot of obstacles. Pot holes, stray dogs will run after to you, a lot of traffic, big semi trucks, etc.

Rob I’ve owned many Ducati’s. They can be love hate relationships. I had one that I could only put 1, 000 miles on in three years because it spent its life in the shop leaking like the Exxon Valdez. But then we’ve raced Ducatis for multiple seasons with absolutely no issues also. Good luck.

Be safe. If you are going to be on a Ducati, remember helmets and other protective gears! Getting road rashes is not fun! Is the northern most part of Thailand much cooler than where you are now?

Robb, keep doing your thing and what makes you happy, my experience, even if you have a good Thai woman, they tend to be emotional at times and not agreeable, this is very typical and the more experience you are exposed to, the less it becomes stressful. Just my experience

Hi Rob, can you do a video about noi jai in relationships if you haven't done so already? Hearing another perspective would be helpful. Do you think there is a cultural component here or do you think it's just personality and meanness/ the person not actually loving you?

Money makes things better to a point for healthcare but there is a tipping point where too much money and security degrades the service.

Western countries health care is past the tipping point whereas in SEA, they are still working towards the tipping point. Making SEA far more superior

That’s just how humans work, maybe AI can fix the issues that humans created in the west and then the west can get its dominance back …… or not

You better not get into a fight in Thailand or you will go to jail and pay for any injuries to a Thai person.

I’m no longer planning on moving to Thailand. The recent immigration rules regarding a ten year visa where an older person doesn’t have to make border runs yearly. Somebody decided they knew best 🖕. My wife can’t make trips like that, it would cause pain. What the f is wrong with these people? I’m not coming, no money for you
