Όπως αναφέρουν πρόσφατα δημοσιεύματα σε ελληνικά μέσα ενημέρωσης, τα οποία βασίζονται σε πληροφορίες από το ΑΠΕ-ΜΠΕ, η συμφωνία Ελλάδας - Αιγύπτου για τη μερική οριοθέτηση της ΑΟΖ, μεταξύ των δύο χωρών, αναρτήθηκε στην επίσημη ιστοσελίδα του ΟΗΕ και ειδικότερα στην ιστοσελίδα της Διεύθυνσης Ωκεάνιων Υποθέσεων και του Δικαίου της Θάλασσας.
